The Woman’s Hospital – a shining star in Baton Rouge
Shaped like a star, the new Woman’s Hospital stands out as much for its unique architectural design as it does for its leading-edge technology and family-focused approach to medicine. The Beaubois team was thrilled to be involved in such an inspiring project and provide exceptional architectural elements and wood furnishings for the new hospital.
Beaubois produced and installed headboards with medical equipment, closets, vanities, window apron walls and ceiling friezes for the 176 regular rooms and the 96 intensive care unit rooms. The team also produced wood furnishings for the reception and nursing stations, and a backlit suspended glass panel to add an impressive sparkle to the nursing stations.
Because the complex design incorporated many angles, the Beaubois team had to work closely with other professional contractors to ensure all furnishings and architectural woodwork fit perfectly into their assigned places. This was a challenging and rewarding project for Beaubois’ team of skilled professionals.
