Willow Square Continuing Care Center – a pillar of the community
The Willow Square building provides maximum assistance to residents through a family-centered concept that includes a playground and inter-generational park, to create a strong connection with the local community.
For this Canadian project, Beaubois joined forces with Pomerleau and S2 Architecture to build a new long-term and palliative care facility in Fort McMurray, Alberta. The team outfitted 108 residential rooms with white and grey plastic laminate, provided millwork for bathrooms and built the center’s reception and bistro desks, in walnut and oak. Due to flooding and pandemic closures, the project incurred delays, which the Beaubois team was able to navigate without issues.
