The Capitol Area East End Complex – an extensive undertaking
Beaubois was awarded a major contract for the construction of the Capitol Area East End Complex in Sacramento, California. The immense tenantable space houses, among others, the offices of the Governor of California. The construction project required a total investment of $392M (USD).
The Beaubois team supplied hardwood floors, security desks, wall paneling for the elevators and vanities for the washrooms in each of the five-storey buildings. In addition, the team crafted an impressive structural ceiling banded with maple atop the vast atrium. Covering a total of 1.18 million sq. ft., the Capitol Area East End Complex construction project was an exciting challenge for Beaubois’ team of architectural woodwork experts.
