Beaubois leaves its mark on the spectacular SugarHouse Casino in Philadephia
Once again, Beaubois put its expertise in architectural woodwork to good use in the expansion of the SugarHouse Casino, located on the Delaware River in Philadelphia. This major build doubled the space of this entertainment complex, bringing it to 260,000 ft2.
Beaubois used an array of hardwoods in this huge project, including zebrano, Macassar ebony, Amara ebony, makore and red gum. The latter was matched with resin and glass to create a luminous grand curved staircase, the Monumental Stairs.
In the gaming areas, the Beaubois team applied its talents to the decor of the high-rollers room where it crafted and installed a curved plaster wall over 90 feet in length, decorative mouldings on the ceilings, a bar and a lighted glass counter with confetti inserts. In Geno’s Steak restaurant, Beaubois built a wine cellar that can hold 1000 plus bottles and a common table made with more than 50 intertwined 4 x 4 inch wood pillars. Lastly, magnificent ebony ceilings crown the two restaurants at SugarHouse, another casino on which Beaubois proudly left its mark.

Au restaurant Geno’s Steak, Beaubois a construit un cellier d’une capacité de plus de 1000 bouteilles et une table commune faite avec plus d’une cinquantaine de piliers de bois 4 x 4 po entremêlés. Enfin, de magnifiques plafonds en bois d’ébène surplombent deux restaurants du SugarHouse, un autre casino d’envergure sur lequel Beaubois laisse son empreinte avec fierté.
