National Bank Head Office in Montreal – Future-Forward Building
Ground breaking ceremonies were officially held in 2018 for the National Bank’s new head office. The 200-metre building will include 40 floors and 1.1 million square feet. According to the National Bank, this 500-million-dollar project is the most significant real estate investment made in Montreal in the past 25 years.
The design is expected to meet the most stringent standards for sustainable building and integrative design. The goal is to achieve LEED v4 Gold and WELL certification. Innovative features of the project include many collaborative, modern and hi-tech workspaces, a conference centre, 400 parking spaces for cyclists, 80 charging stations for electric vehicles, and an outdoor garden on the 40th floor.
