The Rosen Shingle Creek Resort – an impressive location
The Rosen Shingle Creek Resort is one of Central Florida’s largest convention centers with 99 meeting rooms and the largest column-free ballrooms (95,000 ft²) in the United States. The hotel offers 1,500 impressive guest rooms and suites and the resort’s 1900’s Spanish revival architecture style is warm and welcoming. Guests stroll under high archways with warm earth tones complemented by carefully selected cherry, maple and yellow poplar wood.
The Beaubois team crafted and installed 52 types of moldings that were fitted together in many different ways, sometimes creating strips that were 24 inches high for an eye-catching effect. The ballroom and the rotunda feature ceilings decorated with baulks and columns dressed in wood, and the Beaubois team also created and installed the reception bar and buffet counters, as well as bars and vanities in the suites.
This project required careful coordination and extreme attention to detail – the Beaubois team was up to the challenge and enjoyed being a part of such an impressive renovation.
