Beaubois talent featured at the Lincoln Center
Beaubois’ masterful art in wood is featured in the new Lincoln Center in New York. A world-famous performance space, the Lincoln Center is an elegant 1,110-seat theatre that has featured exceptionally talented artists for over 40 years.
The Beaubois team provided quality wood furnishings for the revitalization of the theatre’s Juilliard / Alice Tully Hall. Careful attention was paid to the unique and complex design of the existing structure. Beaubois crafted louvers and curtain-walls with integrated hardwood planks made from muirapiranga, an unusual and extremely attractive composition.
In addition, Beaubois produced wall panels, a staircase, special storage cupboards for musical instruments and counters for the ticketing office. The team contributed to the revitalization of the rehearsal hall, the lobbies, the orchestra room and other rooms in the building. The wood types selected were: padauk, muirapiranga, beech and white maple, all quarter cut.
Beaubois was proud to participate in the renewal project for this prestigious performance hall by contributing artful wood furnishings to the inspiring new space.
