Beaubois’ expertise catches the light at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital in Texas
The sunlight highlights all the beauty of the wall panels decorating the two atria of this new hospital. Crafted by Beaubois, these panels are three stories and six stories high and the installation required precise harmonization of the wood grains.
Beaubois played an active role in the care and services sectors of Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital and also left its distinctive signature in the public areas. In the chapel, the wall panels alternate with the long stained-glass windows to create a tranquil atmosphere.
With 187 beds, 25 intensive care beds, 34 Birthing Centre beds and 10 operating rooms, this hospital is the newest addition to the Houston Methodist system which has provided the Houston community with world-class care in a spiritual environment for 90 years.
