A new 255,000-square-foot federal courthouse will born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This building is designed to better meet the space and safety needs of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and will include 12 courtrooms and 17 judges’ chambers, as well as workspace for complementary federal agencies.
The design was overseen by a team of architects and engineers from Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC. This 196M$ courthouse will replace the federal courthouse just a few blocks away.
The architects called upon Beaubois to build courtroom millwork such as the judge’s bench, the jury box, the clerk desk, the spectator rail, attorney tables, the lectern, wood paneling, wood frames, and doors. Our experts will also provide wood cabinets, quartz vanity, handrails, a screening station in the lobby, a public transaction counter, a check-in counter, and more.
