American automotive giant Ford Motor Company has unveiled plans to transform the Dearborn Research and Engineering Center into a high-tech, state-of-the-art campus that will house thousands of designers, engineers, and electrical product development experts.
Located on Oakwood Boulevard near downtown West Dearborn, in Detroit, Michigan, the central campus building will be completed in 2027 and will house over 6,000 Ford employees.
IBI/ARCADIS, an architectural firm, was chosen to create the campus plans. Barton Marlow Builders was awarded the construction contract and sought the expertise of Beaubois to design the entire furniture for the main building.
This project is Beaubois’ largest undertaking to this day and will span from 2023 to 2027.
