Bombardier Global Business Jet Finishing Centre – a world-class project
The expansion of the Finishing Centre for Bombardier’s Global business jets resulted in world-class public spaces and workspaces. The Beaubois team was proud to be a part of this ambitious project and built a two-storey curved wooden archway for the administration area – a magnificent and complex feature that required the coordination of multiple specialty trades.
In the reception area, Beaubois crafted a 12-foot-long, wood-enclosed fireplace, wooden paneling and a curved security desk. In addition, the team created and installed wall units and bookcases for all of the conference rooms, as well as buffet counters, cupboards, shelving and benches for the cafeteria. Beaubois also produced wall panels and cabinets for the offices and vanities for all of the washrooms.
The new aircraft finishing center includes a 172,200-square-foot production hangar that meets LEED® Silver standards, a new 79,650-sq.-ft. administrative area, as well as 51,989 sq. ft. of extra space in the delivery hangar and 35,000 sq. ft. in the painting workshop and assembly bay.
