The Baccarat Hotel – a shining success
The New York Baccarat Hotel & Residences is the first U.S. location for the international hotel chain named after the renowned crystal, a symbol of excellence and exquisite style. Beaubois was honored to contribute to the furnishings of the French-style establishment that offers 113 luxury rooms and 132,000 sq. ft. of residential space on 50 floors.
Integrating materials from various countries in the decorative woodwork and custom furnishings throughout the establishment, the Beaubois team coordinated its work carefully with suppliers and installers to ensure exceptional quality through the entire project.
Beaubois crafted unique furnishings for all 12 floors of the hotel including a stunning smoked wood fireplace in the main entrance, a concierge’s desk, a reception desk, and smoked oak wall paneling and sculpted molding. On the floors where guest rooms are situated, Beaubois produced and installed decorative molding, mirror-finish stainless steel door edges, regular and sliding doors with mirrors, as well as peekaboo bathroom doors. In the Presidential Suite, Beaubois crafted entertainment units and cabinets, as well as doors, frames and bookshelves – all with a deep-brushed finish.
The hotel spa opens onto a magnificent reception desk with wall paneling created by Beaubois, and lovely wooden cabanas near the pool. The New York Baccarat Hotel & Residences is a first-class destination and Beaubois was thrilled to be a key part of its development.
